LUNCHROOM PROGRAM

Students have the option of staying for lunch if parents pay a fee.  Registration forms and information about this program can be picked up at the school office.

We would appreciate every effort being made with neighbours and nearby friends to provide noon hour care.  WHENEVER POSSIBLE, WE WOULD ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL OVER THE LUNCH BREAK.  The change from the school setting is valuable for each child.

Lunchroom Fees are:

          Monthly       $25 per student

          Casual         $2.50 per day

(can be purchased in sheets of 6 coupons for $15)

Milk Coupons are:

          10 coupons for $6.50 (milk is now 65¢ each)

          20 coupons for $13.00 (milk is now 65¢ each)

JUNK FOOD

The staff will take every opportunity to teach the students to consume nutritional foods and to avoid the so-called ‘junk foods’ such as candy, gum, pop, etc.  Parents can assist us in this endeavour by monitoring the child’s trips to the shopping centres and encouraging proper nutritional habits.
